Sharing this beautiful DTLA maternity session after having a full weekend of celebrating all my wonderful aunties I consider my mom, cousins who are amazing moms, my actual amazing mom who makes me feel like I can do anything in this world and with the miracle human being who made me a mom. SO blessed. Happy Mother's Day, everyone! Congrats again to C &J!!
This past season I had the privilege to second shoot a few weddings alongside the talented Allison. So, when she asked me to photograph her maternity/family session for her Christmas card I was both flattered and slightly nervous to be shooting a fellow photographer. Of course there was no reason to be nervous. I had a lovely and relaxed time with the glowing Alison, her husband Donovan, her two labs Hogan and Stella and her little bun in the oven. We took a walk to a nature reserve near her house where her pups love to go and then headed to the beach nearby for sunset.
Allison, I am super excited to meet your first born. Congrats again to you and your ever growing family! xo, Rachel
