Once upon a time there was a handsome young prince named Kyle who asked the beautiful princess Ellie for her hand in marriage. They love to spend their days in the magical kingdom known as Disneyland. So, together we embarked on a California adventure together to capture the love between these two. I have been wanting to shoot a couple in love here for awhile now. Thanks for making my dreams come true too, Ellie and Kyle! I look forward to your wedding in January. xo, Rachel

From the get-go, Christina and Sean were so relaxed in front of my camera. They were a dream to work with as we hiked the trails around Griffith Park and checked out the gorgeous city of LA from the best place to see view it, the Griffith Observatory. These two high-school sweethearts stayed in the moment and focused on their deep love for each other the whole time. It was so stinkin' cute. I seriously can't wait to hang with you guys again on your wedding day next May. You two are so perfect for each other!
Congrats on your engagement, Christina and Sean! Thank you again for having me capture what will be a most amazing day.

Christina and Sean used the photo below on their save-the-dates. Loved their idea. So cute!
Gotta love these two.
I had so much fun running around Downtown LA with these two.
First, we met over at the Union Station where we almost got kicked out, but that's a whole different story. ;) Beckie gave me one of their Save the Dates that she created herself. I think it's the cutest Save the Date I have ever seen. When I saw the artists they included in their mixed CD were some of my favorites, I knew we would get along right away.
Then, I got some shots of them riding the Metro (cue Berlin) over to the Los Angeles Central Library. Beckie and Patrick are both serious bookworms, so when they decided to have their engagement session there I was beyond excited to be shooting them at a meaningful location.
Beckie and Patrick I can't wait for your wedding next year. I know it will be amazing! xo, Rachel
