Lizzie Spaceship

Lizzie Spaceship is an artist based in Silver Spring, Maryland. Disappointed with the depictions of lesbian women online she took it upon herself to portray real love and real intimacy. This was the beginning of "Shhh" - a series of paintings showing women loving women Kickstarter project. Her project was successfully funded and the first of the prints have gone out.

Thank you so much, Lizzie! My print is beautiful. It was such an honor that my photo from Annie & Sylvia's wedding provided you with inspiration. It's so cool to see it in painted form. I hope your upcoming gallery shows, in turn, inspire many others.

Day 2 of Project 365

I won't post a blog every day for this project, but I had too much fun for today not to. We renewed our annual passes to Disneyland!  Saw the pouring rain and thought today was a perfect day to come back.

The light here is so beautiful, especially in the rain.  It's a light that illuminates part of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. Make sure to visit it next time you are around.
