Jessica & Todd: Married at the Woman's Club in the City of Orange

When the talented Sarah Layne had me come along to assist her for this wedding, I had no clue as to how amazing it was going to be. Jessica and Todd themselves handled all the details and charming touches of this winter theme wedding set in the glamour of Old Hollywood. Jessica and Todd said their vows at dusk in an outdoor ceremony lit by twinkling Christmas lights. During the reception guests were warmed by sipping hot cocoa or apple cider by the fireplace, took silly photos for the photo booth and were treated to sweets such as mint chocolate cupcakes that are so perfect for the Holiday season. To top it all off they had a big band orchestra croon some classic tunes that really put the guests "In the Mood." Thanks again to Sarah for having me along. Please check out Sarah's lovely photos on her blog. And, to all my blog readers I hope you have a Happy Holiday and New Year with the ones near and dear to you. I appreciate all the love and support you have given me this past year. I know 2012 will be amazing! See you then.

Congratulations to Jessica & Todd!

Courtney & Eric: Married at the Los Angeles LDS Mormon Temple

Courtney & Eric are one of the cutest couples I have ever met. I mean look at 'em? Adorable. Jim Stephens from the Stephens Studio had me come along and assist for both the engagement session and wedding. They were a dream to work as we found out during their engagement shoot.  Both of them are so natural and comfortable in front of the camera. I think it comes from the strong love they have for each other that they didn't even seem to notice we were there.

Their wedding took place at the gorgeous LDS Mormon Temple in Los Angeles and the backyard reception was held at a neighbor's lovely backyard in the hills of Thousand Oaks.

Kacie & Todd: Married at the Bernardo Winery in San Diego, CA

Kacie & Todd's wedding was perfect. The Bernardo Winery is a gorgeous venue to have a rustic outdoor wedding. Their details were thoughtfully put together by the bride herself and Kacie & Todd are such beautiful people inside and out. They are PERFECT for each other. I mean, c'mon, during the vows Todd started tearing up and had to stop. It wasn't until Kacie gave him a hug that he was able to continue. It was such a sweet moment. Thanks to Aimee Westcott for having me along to assist. Please see her beautiful photos on her blog. This wedding was even featured on Style Me Pretty. What an honor!

When second shooting I am often tasked with photographing the groom and his party which is totally fine with me, especially because guys tend to be more silly. Here they are pretending to be zombies. They are the happiest zombies I have ever seen.
