So much love, fun and dancing was to be had at Reham & Ahmed's wedding at the lovely Noor in Downtown Pasadena. Their big circle of family and friends were out in full force to witness these two be bonded for life.
Reham and Ahmed's First Look was definitely one for the books. I have to say when Reham first told me she wanted to do the First Look in the middle of a busy crosswalk in the streets of Downtown Pasadena on a busy Saturday during Memorial Day weekend I wasn't sure if it would work. But, once we devised a plan I was super excited. I LOVE that my clients are so fun and adventurous. How do I get so lucky?
The theme involved mint and gold details. You just can't go wrong with these colors. Reham and her bridesmaids and flower girl looked gorgeous accented with these colors. Ahmed and his handsome groomsmen (14 in total!!) looked dapper in their classic suits.
The ceremony took place just outside of the Noor with lovely white, flowing canvas to provide privacy as this is in the middle of a busy shopping area, but you would never know it. The ceremony was conducted by a close family friend and there were tears and laughter throughout. The newlyweds exited the ceremony site in a shower of pop-out streamers and cheers of joy.
Then, we walked over to the lovely City Hall which is conveniently across the street and had some fun taking photos of the wedding party and some romantics as the sun set on this amazing day.
Once reception time hit it was a non-stop party starting off with the couple's Egyptian Zaffa grand entrance. Guests got to enjoy cigar service on the balcony overlooking Colorado Blvd and Reham and Ahmed hardly left the dance floor late in to the night.

When I first met Tina & Sean that little voice in my head saying, "Oh please pick me!" was deafening. For me it's important to have a connection with my clients and with these two I felt it. Although, I do suspect anyone that meets them can't help but to like them instantly. I especially loved the fact that they are high school sweethearts as I am blessed to be so happily married to mine. The love they have for each other was so apparent I just HAD to be the one to capture it. Thanks again Tina and Sean for picking me! Such an honor.
The day of the wedding was lovely. Sun was shining and the excitement was palpable. I started shooting Tina at her parents lovely home while my second shooter, David Sno, captured Sean at his family home. One of the unique moments of the day was that Tina and Sean chose to do a blindfolded prayer together before the actual ceremony at St. Ferdinand's Church. It was very sweet and emotional. I have done many First Looks before but this one was different and special to the couple.
Another one of my favorite aspects of course was their lightsaber grand entrance at The Castaway in Burbank. BEST GRAND ENTRANCE EVER. My geeky heart was a flutter. Check out Sean's cool geek chic AT-AT cufflinks as well. Enough of my rambling, please just see the photos to get more of a sense of this amazing day. There were so many lovely details and emotional moments at this wedding it was impossible to include them all.
