Flowergirl Sneak Peek :: Irvine Marriott Wedding

I started out photographing this family even before Paige (the little one) was born. In fact, their mother, Olga's wedding was the very first one I ever shot. Now, here I am years later editing Olga's younger sister's wedding where Bella and Paige are the flowergirls. They just keep on getting more and more gorgeous. I feel so privileged to be capturing the meaningful moments in this close family's lives.

Madeline & Ryan :: A South End Wedding

I don't really have a more eloquent way of describing this next post, except that I loved this wedding so hard. First, I got to second shoot for the vibrant David Sno. This past wedding season he has been my co-pilot and it was such a joy to be his Chewie for a change. And then, there are cutie pies Madeline and Ryan, the ultimate examples of happiness and love. These two had the biggest smiles on their faces the whole time, it was infectious. All the charming and sweet details were crafted by the couple themselves. Nothing like a DIY wedding to infuse the personality of the couple and make them shine.

They really are the sweetest. Madeline even took the time out to send me a text during her honeymoon road trip to say thanks and to wish me and my husband an amazing time while we were on our 10th anniversary road trip! Its the little things...

Thanks again to David for letting me tag along. Congrats to Madeline and Ryan!

Neille & Alfred :: A Venice Beach Wedding

Neille & Alfred first met just outside of James' Beach restaurant. He said something snarky and the rest, as they say, is history...

From strolling along the Venice boardwalk, a magician, a fortune teller and their first chance meeting in comic form, Neille and Alfred's details truly made this intimate, DIY, 1920's carnival themed wedding unique to them and fun for everyone. Neille and Alfred are the type of people you feel instantly comfortable with. It was a joy to witness the love.

Special thanks to Laura Guerrie of Rebel Belle Weddings for getting me together with these two amazing people and making sure the day ran smoothly. She is epic.

Congrats to Neille and Alfred!

We started out with the a First Look just in front of the restaurant.

Then, we headed to the boardwalk.

Took photos with the natives.

This is the exact spot where they met. Just to the right of the restaurant.

A mother/daughter moment before the ceremony.

Neille's mom made the lovely floral centerpieces.

First dance to This Must Be the Place by Talking Heads

Alfred's dad had one of the sweetest toasts ever. He shared photos of Alfred when he was a kid. He was and is so proud of his son.

Now on to the dance party!

Even the staff at James' Beach started partying!

Thank you Neille and Alfred. I had a rad time. xo, Rachel
